1. Always carry fresh water.

Choose one that’s easy to pack, quick to clean, and stable on uneven surfaces. Silicone and pop-up styles work great for hiking or roadside stops.
3. Offer water frequently, even if they don’t ask.
Many pets won’t drink until they’re very thirsty, so make water breaks a regular part of your travel routine.
4. Avoid letting pets drink from streams, puddles, or unfamiliar water sources.
These may contain harmful bacteria or parasites. Bring purified or bottled water when in doubt.
5. Keep water cool.
Use an insulated bottle or add ice to keep water fresh and appealing during long drives or hikes.
6. Stick to your pet’s regular food.
