Dogs Are Going Hog Wild For Everything Arkansas Razorbacks!

Fall Saturdays in Fayetteville are more than just football—they’re a celebration of community, tradition, and the unbreakable bond between Razorback fans and their four-legged companions. As the University of Arkansas Razorbacks take the field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the surrounding areas come alive with tailgates where dogs are not just welcome but celebrated. From the vibrant Dickson Street to the scenic parks and dog-friendly patios, Fayetteville offers countless opportunities for fans to “Call the Hogs” alongside their pets. 

Whether you’re a lifelong Arkansan or visiting for the first time, bringing your pup to a Razorback game day is a unique way to experience the spirited atmosphere of this SEC town. So leash up your dog, don your cardinal red, and join the chorus of “Woo Pig Sooie”—because in Fayetteville, game day is a family affair for all, paws included.

First to catch my eye was Tusk, the Labrador, proudly named after the great Razorback mascot himself. He was sporting an armless grey Razorback hoodie that would make any pup’s tail wag. “The open-arm hoodie design lets me run free,” barked Tusk. 

I went Hog-Wild when I spotted a tailgate with a dedicated pet area, complete with a Razorback dog bed, rug, and a few footballs—the perfect setup for any furry football fan. Each pup was decked out in a different Razorback jersey, with coordinating collars and leashes that showed off their unique style.
