Do you ever think about how tough it is for us dogs when it comes to pooping, we seldom have home court advantage. We are like traveling athletes, who always have to poop on the go. It’s not always that easy. We hear you back there, “when is he to stop with the circles!” So we scout spots like we are preparing for the next game, it is just what we do. It has to feel right before we take the ‘shot.’ The grass has to feel good, the angle spot on and the view has to be just right.
We need to pause here and thank those of you who carry the weight of the poop follow up with bag in hand. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. While it may not seem like it, we do try and place the load for the perfect pick up game, but sometimes we just miss the mark. We are very impressed with your hands-free maneuvers and would most likely get our snoot in the poo, so we appreciate the assist.
We might point out that some of us are a little shyer than others when it come to the poo, most of us don’t mind an audience for #1, heck we will go here and there and everywhere, but when it comes to #2 we each have a unique set of standards. Some of us just drop and go, never looking back while others of us take our sweet time to find the perfect resting spot for the ‘go.’
So for all you dog walkers be patient with us and don’t put on the full court press, we know what we gotta ‘go’ but sometimes we just need the pressure off to make the dunk!!! When we are done a clean scoop is all we ask, with no splash! Now tie it up and hit the trash with nothing but net!
