Uncomparabowl™

Some of the most interesting pet products begin when someone looks at something we have all used forever and asks, “Why are we still doing it this way?” That is what caught our attention about Uncomparabowl. The traditional round pet bowl has barely changed over the years. The round bowl design does not actually meet the needs of most pets, those that push food around, love to flip their bowls, have to chase the last pieces of their food into corners and some even struggle with an eating position that just does not work for them. Instead of dressing up the same old bowl style, the people behind Uncomparabowl went back to the drawing board and did their homework. They developed an entirely different pet bowl shape, one that is stable, ergonomic and intentionally designed around the way pets actually approach their food. It feels like part of a larger shift we are seeing in the pet world, pet products that are becoming better designed, quality construction and built with a more thoughtful approach.

After designing a unique, pet-first food bowl, they set out to source quality materials and find a way to manufacture them in the USA. They decided to build a durable, easy to clean and with pet-safe materials that stands up to life with pets. It is important to note that the shape of their bowls is not by accident, the innovation behind the design was truly to make a better mouse-trap. They also support veterans organizations that recognize the extraordinary connection between people and animals, another reason the company feels grounded in something bigger than selling pet bowls.

Uncomparabowl is a great example of a simple idea, reconsidered from the pet’s point of view, and made better because someone cared.
