Our Philosophy
The Way We Think About It Matters.
What We Believe:
Our Guiding Principles:
These principles guide us in every decision we make: Online shopping offers convenience, abundance, and entertainment for those who enjoy shopping. We choose to go back to the core principles of retail and translate them to the online shopping environment, while expanding those principles to improve the online shopping experience. These principles guide us every step of the way in building, operating, and expanding our shops.
- Online shopping should inspire curiosity and discovery.
- Products, information, inspiration, and community should work together.
- Purchasing should come only after a great shopping experience.
- Shoppers should not have to know what they are shopping for online.
- Ads should not be intrusive, disruptive, or add unnecessary noise.

- Shops online should be organized, organized, and vetted, allowing the shopper to make the best shopping decisions.
- Products featured online should fit the context, function, and value required by the shopper
- The shopper should choices, sometimes it is for a gift and other times you need to buy for many.
- How To Books, information, and tips should be part of the online shopping experience.
- Online shopping should begin with browsing and end with purchasing.
- Our one-of-everything approach reduces duplication and enhances selection.
- Everything that is needed should be curated together allowing the shopper to decide what is required to meet their needs.
- Shopping should not be done one product at a time, shopping should be done one solution at a time.
- Not all online shoppers are the same, there should be a variety of shopping methods to meet every shopper’s needs.
- Not all online shopping adventures are the same, shoppers should decide how they need to shop each time.
- Online shopping should be about matching the shopper’s needs with the products that best match those needs.
- Technology should be used to enhance the shopping experience and constantly make it better.
- Shoppers should not be tracked, monitored, or bothered.
- Online shopping should be a free experience, allowing the shopper to decide when they want to make a purchase.
- Shopping online should be a one-stop-shop destination that does not require the shopper to search from one site to another.
- Online shopping should be driven by the shoppers needs
- Technology should be used to improve the experience, not to try and force people to buy more.
- We should work to reduce retail packaging, transportation requirements, and duplicate warehouse storage to reduce the carbon footprint.
- The shopper should have the option to choose the bests products, price-points, and quality for their shopping needs.
- Suppliers should only offer products that do what they say they will do, offer the best value for the money, and provide the shopper with all they need to know.
Our Philosophy on Value:
How we value a product or service should be based on context: Value is not always easy to measure, it is based on the current need of the shopper. We work to make sure every product and service we offer meets a base-line of standards to ensure the products we offer do that they say they will do. Beyond this we expand our offering to include a range of product values to meet the needs of each customer. While retail stores tend to focus on a fix price-point range, we explore all products that offer value to our shoppers.
At Wild Love Tails, we believe value is not determined by price, it is determined by purpose.
- We strive to help shoppers find the right products for the right purpose.
- The best product isn’t always the most expensive, and isn’t always the least expensive.
- Products should be chosen for their function, use, and the required longevity.
- Shoppers should have the option to choose the value of the products they need.
- Our goal is not to recommend the cheapest or most expensive, but options to meet shopper’s needs.
- We offer a variety of brands, sizes, and styles when possible to help match the best value for each need.
- Products that don’t meet a base-line of quality should never be offered.
- Brands should self-govern their products and strive to offer the best value, best packaging, and best support.
