Dog Friendly Springdale Arkansas

Springdale, Arkansas is part of the amazing growing NW Arkansas area, which is in the top 5 places to live in USA for 2019 and the area also includes; Bentonville, Cave Springs, Lowell, Rogers, Fayetteville and the surrounding area. Downtown Springdale is currently the place to watch, with amazing changes are going on daily. The changes are happening with the help of Walmart, the Walton Family, Tyson Foods and many other local families and businesses.
Springdale is situated in the middle of NW Arkansas. It is home to Tyson Foods, The Naturals Baseball Team and the NW Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Downtown Springdale features Spring Creek, which in many cases travels along the bike trail, a train station that is set up for site seeing trips and special events and it is the halfway point on the very popular bike trails that span top to bottom of NW Arkansas.
Arkansas is the Natural State and outdoor activities, alfresco dining and taking in the scenery is what it is all about. Not only is it a great place to be with family and friends, it is dog friendly and a great place to work, live and travel to with your 4 legged friends. NW Arkansas Bike Trail – Springdale is a hub area for the trails and a great stopping spot going north or south. Stop by Emma street and enjoy a bite, beer or a little shopping. Take the bike or take a walk and don’t forget to bring your pup. The trails are pet friendly with spots to stop if you are on the bike or walking. Follow their blog for updates and details.
NW Arkansas Naturals Ballpark – minor league baseball that is part of the Kansas City Royals Major League Team. There are a lot of fun theme nights, but my favorite is Bring Your Pup To The Game – coming up May 5, 2019. There are so many family and fun theme nights, so check it out.
C.L. “Charlie” and Willie George Park – this is a new park in Springdale that is really great. Fields for the kids to play, splash pad and the best part of the entire park is the Dog Park.
Lewis and Clark Outdoor Store, Springdale – this is a great store with products for outdoor activities including biking, water sports, hiking, wall climbing and more. Stop by and check out their bikes, ask about pet carriers for you bike and ask about their many activities, teams and groups they organize. So, grab your pet and head over to see the latest gear, the newest bikes and great outdoor apparel. “Go Out And Play” and take your 4 legged friend with you.
Dog Party USA – Planning a day of shopping, trail riding or a visit to Crystal Bridges, you might want a great place to leave you pet where they can have a good time too. They have a great reputation and many locals even take their dogs there for a play day. Perfect for small, medium and large breeds, they take dogs, play and fun seriously.
Core Brewing – located in north Springdale and one of the first craft brewery in NW Arkansas. Founder Jesse Core is a true dog lover with the logo inspired by a long-time family pup. Jesse brings his bulldog to work daily and welcomes dogs to the bar and dog park.
Odd Soul – Pizza and Craft Beer – a great local pub featuring craft beers and other libations. They specialize in artisan pizza, skillets and appetizers. Dogs are welcome inside and out and they will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Consider stopping by Sunday evenings for a jam session with great area musicians, cold drinks and canine friendly sounds. Just off the bike trail in Downtown Springdale.
MJ Pizza Springdale – Owned by renowned chef Miles James and featuring Wood-Fired Pizza, Homemade Pasta, Craft Beer and Artisan Drinks. They have a large patio that is ideal for your 4 legged friend to sit close by as you enjoy your meal. They also offer live music occasionally.
Flying Burrito Springdale – located in the Har-Ber Meadows community and featuring a front patio that is perfect for a burrito, nachos or other Mexican treat. Take a walk from home or stop by and enjoy lunch or dinner with you pup.
Onyx Coffee Springdale – a great place for amazing coffee, treats or just to hang out. The vibe is great and they even offer barista classes. If you would prefer breakfast in bed, bring some home and lounge with the pup.
Sammich Love – a new place in downtown Springdale and owned by chef Brent Hale of Big Sexy Food and a local chef celebrity. Great sandwiches, cookies and you can take home fresh cold cuts. Spots in the front and back where you can have lunch with your pup and enjoy your time downtown.
Bike Rack Springdale – a converted downtown building is now home to one of the Bike Rack locations just off the bike trail in Springdale. Featuring a large patio and open seating area, this craft brew pub is a great place for pups and people. You can also grab a bite to eat at the food Truck Big Sexy Food
Buffalo Wild Wings Springdale – located in the Har-Ber Meadows neighborhood, this location features and outside patio. Wings, burgers and cold beer a great place to watch the game, hang with friends or relax with the pup.
JJ’s Bar & Grill Springdale – Springdale is the newest JJ’s location with a patio to the north side that is ideal for you and your pup. Great burgers, salads, sandwiches and local fare. Live music daily inside and relaxing atmosphere outside. Open 7 days a week and now serving brunch.
Dairy Queen Springdale – one of the newest Dairy Queen locations and featuring an outside eating patio so take a walk or drive to Sunset in Springdale and enjoy a burger, fries and a bit of ice cream.
Tacos For Life Springdale – a great concept in eating, you buy a meal and Tacos For Life donates money to help end childhood hunger around the world. A patio setting makes it ideal for you and you canine friend. Located in the Har-Ber Meadows neighborhood you can walk, ride or drive in and enjoy tacos, helping others and time with your pup.
Jose’s Mexican Tontitown – located just outside of Springdale, this Tex-Mex restaurant features a large patio, bandstand for live music and great place to dine with the dog. Also very kid friendly, grab the family and have a great time. Kids eat free 11-4 on Sundays and 11-10 on Thursdays. They also offer brunch on the weekends.
Taco Loco Springdale – located in Downtown Springdale, this walk up and order, authentic Mexican restaurant is worth the trip. Choose a seat outside and enjoy lunch or dinner with the pup. Family friendly and just off the bike trail in Springdale. Don’t forget Taco Tuesday every week for $1 tacos that are such a great deal and there are many options. Full bar, so you can enjoy a margarita, beer or libation. Don’t forget the cheese dip.
Slim Chickens Springdale – founded in NW Arkansas, this amazing chicken restaurant is a great concept, great food and expanding around the world. With outdoor eating spaces in all locations it makes it an ideal stop for you and your pup.
Tontitown Winery – located just next to Springdale, this family owned winery is a great place for a wine tasting, art class or live music. Bring a chair, the pup and some friends and enjoy. Serving a range of wines, craft beers and snacks. There are also food trucks when they have live music. Follow them on Facebook to know who is playing and the weekend food truck menu. They also offer wine tastings and have a great gift shop too with fun dog, cat and wine gifts.
Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery – nestled in a beautiful valley in western, Springdale, this amazing property is a winery, wedding/event venue and vineyard. Spend a little time on the decks of the winery enjoying great wines, tasting new wines and nibbling on an amazing cheese tray, pizza or appetizers or even plan a wedding with your canine friends in the outdoor wedding venue. This is one of the best wedding venues in NW Arkansas.
